An Airing of Difference

So now, after all the mess that the Albany delegation to the General Assembly has made in the press, WALB reported tonight that there has been a clearing of the air…maybe.

At an luncheon sponsored by the Albany-Dougherty Chamber of Commerce, the delegation supposedly aired their differences and many are hopeful that this will smooth the way for cooperation next year.  Unfortunately, I can’t help but believe that this is nothing more than wishful thinking. Who Needs Soap Operas?

Many political junkies pay little attention to state matters here in Georgia, mostly because they feel that the General Assembly is boring. Winfred Dukes, Albany State, and Transportation

By now, you’ve probably heard that State Rep Winfred Dukes has been accused of costing Albany State University the funding for the Ray Charles Fine Arts Center.
