School Board Being Sued

The Dougherty County School Board has found itself on the wrong side of a lawsuit,one filed by WALB, WFXL, and the Albany Herald. The School Board’s own attorney, Tommy Coleman, has said that the Board broke the law by not releasing the names of all the “finalists” despite there actually having been several others besides current pick Joshua Murfree.

This could delay Murfree’s hiring significantly.

DoCo School Board Antics…enough reason to leave town.

With their knowingly illegal acts yesterday, the School Board drove another nail in the coffin for Albany and Dougherty County as far as many people are concerned. For the record, I’m one of them.
