John Oxendine Actively Supports Bullying 15yo Kid

Last night, a new chapter in ‘Constable-gate‘ was written when Kyle Constable put up a new post – at the request of the Oxendine camp – saying that technically, John Oxendine himself has never bullied him.

Thing is, I’ve never said he has – when asked for details. I have ALWAYS said something to the tune of “he employed the men who bullied Kyle, and never did anything to censure them, therefore he implicitly agrees with it”, though I will modify my headlines to something similar to the title of this post: ‘John Oxendine Actively Supports Bullying 15 yo Kid’ (rather than ‘John Oxendine Bullies 15yo Kid’).

Here’s why:

At a bare minimum, John Oxendine has never once publicly said that Jeff Breedlove and Gabe Winslow, his Chief Political Strategist and Director of Web Strategies, were wrong in bullying Kyle the way they did. In fact, he continues to employ them to the tune of right at $120,000 combined. This is per the latest disclosure reports which show Jeff Breedlove being paid $2,453 bi-weekly and Gabe Winslow being paid $2,500 bi-weekly. The fact that they continue to be employed with the campaign says that John Oxendine himself believes them to be doing a good job – including when they bully 15yo kids. Thus, while the actual act of bullying was, in fact, done by another, John Oxendine is just as bad as the actual bullies, because he continues to actively support the bullies in their actions.

In schools, we teach kids that supporting the bullies is just as bad as being a bully, because it encourages the bullies to bully more kids more often. John Oxendine seems to have forgotten that lesson, and continues to insist he did nothing wrong in actively supporting the bullying of a 15yo kid.

$60,000 per year to bully people. I knew several kids in school, both when I was a student and when I was teacher, that would LOVE that job.

John Oxendine has actively supported Jeff Breedlove and Gabe Winslow in having it.
