2009 Top Stories: Most Viewed Issues

So far this week, we’ve looked at Bill’s, Tom’s, and my own most viewed posts of the year. Today, we turn our attention to the most viewed issues of 2009.

A couple of the issues here were actually surprising to me, though others have become a large part of what we write about here. Some issues peaked earlier in the year, but maintained enough views to earn a Top 10 spot on this countdown, while other issues started out slow and gained traction as the year wore on.

Without further ado, the Top 10 Most Viewed Issues on SWGAPolitics.com for 2009 were…

10. 2009 General Assembly (including SpeakerSaga)
9. 2009 Local Elections
8. Rod Jolivette
7. 2nd District Issues and Candidates
6. Libertarian Philosophy, as described by Tom and me
5. Ken Hodges
4. Healthcare Reform
3. Albany Issues, everything from the Gucci Manne fiasco to sign ordinances and other issues
2. 2010 Governor Campaign (John Oxendine alone was roughly 1/3 of these views)
1. Downtown Albany Scandals, including everything to do with ADICA and Don Buie

Wowsers, looks like we need to dedicate a blog to the City of Albany!

I hate that I didn’t find this Blog until late in the year, I am sure you will see more of me in 2010 with my outspoken ideas and no spin look at what is really going on.

Too many times people in politics see things the way they want to see them rather than step away from themselves and their values and look at the entire picture through someone elses glasses.
