I've known Austin since he was a small boy. He's become a fine gentleman with considerable experience in state government. His initiatives are thoughtfully and fairly formulated.

There is no one any better qualified in this race. He has my full support and I hope others will consider his qualifications when choosing a candidate.

Scott clearly is in it to win and am starting to respect his decision to stay in the race rather than exiting for a congressional bid against Rep. Jim Marshall. From these interviews, we can tell he knows governing. I have a good feeling in my bones about another candidate for that 8th District race but mums is the word at this point---maybe a DH, designated hitter.
