Austin Scott Interview: The Finale or Attempting to Transcribe a 78 Minute Interview Kicked My Tail

I’m sending up the white flag on actually transcribing and posting a ‘report’ style post on Austin Scott on the issues.

He appeared to be very open and honest with me, which I greatly appreciate. Here’s the full audio of the interview, and the following are the various clips talking about specific issues.     Scott clearly is in it to win and am starting to respect his decision to stay in the race rather than exiting for a congressional bid against Rep. Jim Marshall. From these interviews, we can tell he knows governing. I have a good feeling in my bones about another candidate for that 8th District race but mums is the word at this point—maybe a DH, designated hitter.

    I’ve known Austin since he was a small boy. He’s become a fine gentleman with considerable experience in state government. His initiatives are thoughtfully and fairly formulated.

    There is no one any better qualified in this race. He has my full support and I hope others will consider his qualifications when choosing a candidate.
