For years, Fox News has been decried as a conservative puppet network dedicated to pushing the Republican agenda while masquerading as a “fair and balanced” news organization. And, well, there may be something to it. However, it looks like ABC is ready to fill that void for the President. In today’s Albany Herald, City Manager Al Lott says in regard to the reinstatement of former Assistant Fire Chief Jolivette “I will say, though, that the reality is I’m privvy to facts everyone doesn’t know. That’s the foundation of city policy. As it was, I was put in a tough spot – between a rock and a hard place – and I had to make the tough decision. I made it; that’s what I do. Karen Handel has been pushing her ‘petition’ against the ‘Obama Department of Justice’ for nearly a month now.
We’ve already seen here that the DOJ had a right to order her to change the Voter Verification procedure that had a 60% failure rate. We’ve seen here that it was actually a Bush Administration court that gave the original order, and that DOJ simply made the final decision in accordance with the Court’s findings.
But those aren’t my issue here. I’ve been busy on a side project for the past couple of days, but I wanted to point out something about this ‘petition’:
