I'm not a European American...I'm an American. I have a heritage that I'm proud of from my European ancestors, but it doesn't impact what kind of American I am. I served my nation as an American...nothing more and nothing less. Ray: I agree about taking back local and state governments. Unfortunately, the system is rigged. Unless you are from the two major parties, you fight an uphill battle just to get on the ballot for the smaller races (but in Georgia, Libertarians can get on the ballot for governor without a problem oddly enough). I can't help but feel that until alternative parties can get on the ballot easier, it'll be harder to make our elected representative accountable. I am looking for a real discussion of the issues. I believe that if we are to overcome our problems we must start with the K-3rd grade and raise a nation that will obey. We must also work with what we have in making our communities, cities, counties and states more productive. any nations that is only consumers will not last long as a leader or power. We must lay aside every weight that so easily hold us down. We are not African Americans, German Americans, French Americans, Italian Americans, Spanish Americans, Mexican Americans, Hispanic Ameircans, Jewish Americans or any other Dash - Americans. WE are AMERICANS. and if you can not handle that you need to chose your country. I fought and shedded blood for my country and I did not do it as an African American I did it as an AMERICAN.
